Need More Info On Studying Abroad - England?

I have been thinking about going to study abroad at Leeds College of Art and Design in England. Right now I live in British Columbia, Canada and just started Grade 12. Would this be a good idea? How much does it cost to live there on average (small basic apartment)? The higher education Graphic Design program costs around 3500 pounds (about $5000 CDN) per year for 3 years. Any other suggestions for schools/programs that are better in England?
