I have had a stye on my eye for several months now?

I have had a stye underneath my right eylid for several months now, since November. It has faded, but is still there. Is it a scar? Is it a different stye that keeps reappearing in the same place like pimples do? Has any1 had a stye that lasted this long? I thought it went away and noticed its still there, this was a couple of months ago when I noticed it was still there. No1 else notices it unless they look really hard but I notice it and to me it is big enough to bug me. If I get it removed would that likely cause a stye?
