Is ground beef that has been thawed in fridge for two days still good?

I took some ground beef out of the freezer and put i in the fridge about 24 hours ago, i was going to use it this evening but I don't have time to make it now as I have to go out, can I leave it there for another day? will it still be good tomorrow? I don't want to poison myself or anyone else
