Is this creepy?

my teacher always taps me and my friends on the shoulder to say we've done good in a test(even though we'd be finding out later when he gives us back our test sheets) and when we are talking in the corridor he stands behind us just waiting for us to stop talking rather than just telling us to go into cl...is that weird?
