World of warcraft:cata release question?

ok, so I live in minnesota and bought cata online. So it should be release in about 8 hours for stores. But on mmo-champ the countdown says 10 hours, will my account not be updated until its 12 blizzards time or will i get it when I am supposed to at 12 rather than 2?
